I have some acro's that are growing great, but not coloring up much. I have others that have nice colors, but aren't growing much. Can we link any particular factors such as light or nutrients to growth vs. color? Which is a better indicator of health?

I use Acropower that has caused all my corals to grow and color up nicely. Before using this product make sure your phosphates are below 0.05. I run/use Seachem's Phosguard continualy which keeps my phosphates and silicates near zero.

Nutrients will give ya great color! Po4 slows down calcification so it’s said.. mine were growing great with no3 at 5 and my po4 at 0 but my colors were lacking.. I bumped up my nutrients and I’m getting amazing color but the growth has slowed just a tad! I’m happy with the growth, with my colors being as deep and rich and vibrant as they are. Currently nitrates at 25 and my po4 is .212

keep those nitrates up. Its tough to do - but helps with color. I like 5-10, but have seen good coloration even higher. May see slight growth reduction with creeping po4 tho.
