hello everyone. i messed up and glued these 2 too close to each other a while back. part of me wanted to see what was gonna happen and the other part was too lazy to reglue the piece.

I was wondering if this will only prohibit that side of the base to grow towards the blue bonsai and the rest will be ok or if the bonsai will eventually kill off the pink lemonade.

will it do more damage to the rest of the coral or just that side of the base?

should i just clip the pink lemonade close to the base as possible /:

thanks!

I don't think one will 'kill' the other. They will probably grow away from each other. Though I can see a scenario where the larger one grows up to and onto the smaller. But if you look at lots of corals - they grow close and then maintain their space.
