I found this one years ago and lost it in the great tank crash of 2004. I've been looking for a frag like it ever since. I figure I have a better shot here of possibly finding someone willing to part with a frag of this if they have it. It was beautiful blue skin with forest green polyps. It had great extension and I loved it. I have seen many in my day, but never again one this color.

I have never, ever found this color again...and trust me...I've looked. I figure with the higher caliber of reefing people on R2R I have a better chance of finding this here.

Very nice piece. Why is it the rare stuff die so easily and the crap stuff survives through anything??

It didn't die easily...I went on vacation and my tank had a HOB overflow and the person taking care of the tank accidently broke the siphon...the day after I left and didn't tell me so I could get someone in to fix it. I was gone 2 weeks...2 weeks with no skimmer, no heater, almost no flow....I came home to find every single coral, fish, mushroom, polyp & clam dead. The whole tank had almost 3" of smelly slime on top.

This was about an eighth of what I lost in the tank..this box was just "frags" I lost colonies too...

Makes me sick, couldn't imagine how you must have felt.

As soon as I walked down into the basement I knew there was a problem. My husband came down to find me 20 minutes later, I was blubbering...I still get teary eyed when I think about the sheer amount of corals I lost. I have since got my son hooked on the hobby, gone to built in overflows, auto top off systems, etc. He lives across the alley from me so he watches my tanks easily when I go on vacation. My next project is to set up a web cam on my tank so I can keep an eye on things when I travel.

There is a guy in my local club that his his streamed. Its cool. I think I might do the same when I hook up the 125.
