I picked this thing up as a frag about a year ago. The guy didn't remember what the name was but he got it from wet thumbs. It looks like a Cali tort to me, but I'm no expert. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I looked up the blue iris, at least from the pictures I found I don't think that's it. The growth structures of the two corals seem to differ a lot. Thanks though

Yeah I've looked that up. I still can't really tell the difference. And I can't find a good picture of each online to compare

This was my miyagi (R.I.P.)

Notice the difference in the tip? Also Cali tort is a slow grower, the austera grows like a weed (did for me anyways)

Just based upon the growth patterns from what I can see in the pictures, mine has a growth pattern of the miyagi. When I was looking it up I came across the blueberry fields acro, what do you think the similarities are there? I got in the hobby after wet thumbs closed, so I'm not really sure what their coral catalogue consisted of.

Thank you for the help guys. Its interesting to see so many different opinions. Here are a couple more pictures if this will help at all.

and just a wee baby haha

Yours looks similar to a lot of different acros! Take into factor that some might be in high flow or low flow, which directly affects how thick or spread out it will be
