Hey guys so I ordered these frags and have had them since Tuesday. So far they all have good polyp extension but the colors are dulling. I have an encrusting Monti that’s doing really well and coloring up. Should I just give them time or is something off?
Cal 440
Mag 1320
Alk 10 (small spike before they got here, working on bringing back to 8)
Nitrate 6
Phos >.25
10 month old tank

Be patient. I had a pocillpora that took a year to color up for me, but evaluate your lighting and coral placement. Acros generally want more light than Monti's

Time. Acros color down all the time after shipping. Some color up within a week or two and some take a month or so for me....sometimes longer. As long as they have poly extension and you notice growth or encrusting you're good.

Just got them so I prob won’t see encrusting for a while… but polyp extension is there so just patience I guess

No worries. Yeah it's going to take a minute to encrust but sometimes that happens faster than color which is fine.
