i have to acros in a frag rack thats sitting in the sand. Their my first acros that ive had that havnt rtn or stn since ive started my build. Previously ive gone through quite a few and none have made it. Since then i took a break and tride to let things mature and become stable. Ive had my nitrates at a steady 2.5-5 and po4 at .02-.04. I have alk at 8.3 consistently and cal at 430 using automatic dosing. I had ph issues and used kalk (again) which always is very ynstable for me but using randys recipe ( for higher ph) and b iconic for calcium also with the help of a co2 scrubber my ph now stays between 8.3-8.15 (from 7.95-7.8). The two frags i have are a bali green slimer and a upscales microclados. They have been doing well for two weeks with great PE. Id like to move them up more to a permanent location but i want to make sure they will be ok with the light. A few weeks ago i found out my lighting was too strong which may have been part of my problem. I run two hydra 26 hd with aquatic life t5 hybrid ( 3 blue + and 1 purple +) wondering where each would do best in my tank under those lightsabers

Not a par meter but i bought a lux meter to at least to figure out what par i was getting at the surface of the water. When i tested the first time i was at 800ish par so i dialed my leds back and now im at 450ish.

Sound like that light does not spread light very well if you were getting readings like that. My recommendation would be then to not put the coral directly under the light if you are not getting any spread. Should be fine anywhere but there up high. Especially the microclados
