Acro Question

My Rule #1 is : don't buy acros from people that keep different parameters than you run. ALK, NO3, PO4 are really all that matter IMO. Confirm they are in range with your system first before ordering. As to PAR, they are all gonna say 350 or so.

Back to acclimation; I am going to assume these were shipped to you.

Temp acclimate in bag for an hour or so (in sump). Longer if the bag is cold (in winter).
Ideally, then QT them (after visual inspection) in <= 250 PAR for a couple days. Resting.
Then I dip them and put them back in QT. Repeat if any doubts or pests are detected in dip. Rest after dips.
Finally into full light tank, but not real high. Might take me 2 weeks to get them all the way up to final mounting location.

The theme here is this: Shipping is stressful. Let them recover before a stressful dip and bright lights.
