I'm a foreigner. Please forgive me if the sentence is strange.
I am raising acropora nana.

It has been damaged in the past. I am recovering now.
However, I discovered a strange phenomenon.

STN, which was in progress, has stopped, and the color is recovering, but the height is not growing and only polyps are constantly appearing.
I wonder if this is normal or if there is a problem.

You can see the little dots in this photo. It later grows larger and becomes a green polyp.
I'm afraid that this little creature might just fill up with polyps and die.

thanks for kindly

How long ago was the dieoff on the end? Looks to me like the rtn has caused the remaining colony to start new fingers, should be more noticable in a few weeks.

I would think more polyps growing is a good sign of recovery and it’s growing shoots off the side versus the damaged tip.

It looks like you’ve fixed the problem and your coral is growing. I personally would cut off the piece of dead skeleton at the top. I think that will get you some more growth toward that tip

It seems that stn has been stopped for a little over a month. At first the tissue color was very pale, but it recovered after increasing the light intensity and lowering Kh.

Thanks for the reply. I'll try it your way. I was able to recover the dying thing by getting a clue from this site. I wrote this because I was wondering if there was another problem. I am a foreigner and I do not speak English well. Thanks for your kind reply.

It seems you've fixed the problem and it's now growing. Keep monitoring alkalinity, calcium and magnesium but I wouldn't be surprised to see very noticable new branching in a few weeks.
