Read a paper on these guys not to long ago. Cant remember what species it was but a certain type of acro was found to be its main preference for food. Ive also seen pictures of a reef here with a school of these fish with acros in back ground. I think your safe with these fish with certain acros. I think most people have a hard time getting them to eat.

Orange spotted filefish feeding questions
so I have two tanks. One established and one that’s just coming out of fallow. About a week ago I was at my LFS and saw they had gotten in some orange spotted filefish. I have always wanted one but read they are very hard to feed because they naturally only eat acropora milli. I asked them...

Not sure I would encourage Noah lol. Your tank is amazingDo you mean orange spotted filefish? I had 6 out of 7 take to Masstick immediately on the day they arrived.
