We have well over 100 acro mini-colonies in this Acropora grow-out tank where they sit and grow before making it to the Acro mother colony tank!

Check out the video to see the setup!!

Does anyone else have an acro grow out frag tank? Lemme see em!

I have a mixed frag tank at the moment. The SPS tank is coming very soon... like as soon as I get time to drive over and pick the tank up.
ooooo!!! What kind of acros are you hoping to throw in there?

Any chance y’all have a show room open to the public? Live in palm beach wouldn’t mind taking a road trip to get some stuff!
We do have a whole store filled with some baller coral! Our aquaculture farm isn't opened to the public quite yet.

Right now there's a bunch of SPS... pink birds nest, ORA neon birds nest, birds of paradise, Oregon Tort, Cali Tort, Garf Bonsai, Walt Disney, Pink Cadillac, some crazy purple and red stag horn, Pocilipora from Palau that is stunning at night, Forest fire and bubblegum digi. I'll be paying a few vendors a visit at RAP on the 26th. There's a few other pieces I want to grab to grow out for the display tank.

That be some pretty corals lol.

This was when my 7’ frag was a grow out with about 70% acros, 20% euphillia and 10% zoas It is now a macro grow out and the acros are scattered across my display tanks.

Not the best pic, but was old phone and T5 reflection lol.

Gotta love that T5 glow lol!

This is seriously impressive though!! What were you using for flow in this beast?

Abyzz a200 return at 74% connected to 2x 1” nozzles on the return end and then 2x gyre 3ks on the other end. Gyres were on pulse and it would send a 1” white cap back and forth lol. There was only about 4’ of head pressure total for how the plumbing was.

Funny thing is how the the middle of the tank ended up being medium random flow and right by the overflow it was random and calmer. Worked great for the layout of corals.

Looks awesome!

That is awesome!!!!

Hopefully ya’ll will be at aquashella. Not looking to pic anything up but will be nice to see you guys there! Also plan to stop by the shop location.

It's funny how that ends up working out! Thanks for the info!!

This is from April... quite a bit more growth since then. Some things have been added, some things have been sold or traded to locals. But you'll get the idea.

That branching hammer colony is absolutely INSANE. Loving how jam-packed it is!!

The big hammer colony is 53 heads I believe. Then there's a couple small ones with 10-12 heads. I got those from someone breaking a tank down. Really the only way to get something like that size. I was told that colony is over 25 years old and used to be much larger. They were fragging heads off the mother colony to sell to locals. Once I got involved he asked "how may heads do you want?", I said "ALL of them." I spent a long time nursing that back to health though. It was filthy and loaded with Aiptasia and vermetid snails. Luckily I have a tank full of Berghia next to that tank for the Aiptasia. The vermetid I scraped off what I could find and the Sixline wrasse now keeps everything in check.

Now you know why I'm adding the SPS grow out tank. I can only much so much flow in there before the hammers and Duncans get ticked off and close up. I'm going to use that tank for LPS and softies and most the sticks to their own tank and crank up the flow.
