its either that or prostrata

Yeah it looks like a prostrata can they be kept under t5's like other sps corals? And what are their basic care requirements? Thanks

treat them like you would a millepora Can be kept under t-5s just keep them up high

But is there really much of a difference between bushy acros or are they pretty much all the exact same thing? Sorry for all the noob questions I'm new to sps coral

I wouldn't say they are the exact same thing. Acropora millepora will be a tabling species, A. prostata will branch out more. Both require good water flow and full lighting. There are a lot of other bushy Acropora species that would not like the same husbandry.

Is polyp extension a good sign in this species? Or what are the signs of a happy Acro?

I would say it is a good thing. I can't think of a reason why it would be bad.

But does good polyp extension mean good health and that it is happy?

It means it is looking for food...but otherwise happy. Some milli type corals have rediculous polyp extension almost all of the time, especially at night.
