What are these?

They cause some level of bleaching, at least make the acro look paler. It could eventually kill the coral. If you switch off all the flow, you should be able to see them move around the coral.

Should I take it out and look at it closer or will that just add on to its low chance to live

Is that the only acro in your system? If so, I would chuck it and not worry about it. If you have other acro in your tank, you should look into a full tank treatment.

As far that particular frag goes, survival is very unlikely due to it being bleached already. The bigger danger is rest of your acros getting these bugs, if they don't already have it.

Will wrasses eat them?

I read that kills other stuff as well I got 3 others
It can and does… I’m sure all your acros are infested if you’re just catching it.. you can either pull them and dip and keep in a separate tank while the bugs die out in your display or just toss them all together and play the waiting game.

I don't have another tank but I guess that acro is done for anyways

Maybe, but will not eradicate them.

To my knowledge, nothing short of an Interceptor treatment will get rid of them from you tank.

You can kill these bugs from individual frags by doing a 30min bayer dip. However the frag will take a hit. I can confirm that none of the commercial dips work for them.

So throw it away and hope it dosent spread

I can't use interceptor I have fish that only eat live pods

Dip may work but if theyre confined to that one coral, I would toss it and hope there are no stray eggs within tank which are very tiny

Idk what I'm suppose to do than can I remove all the acros. Will the bugs die without acros or can they consume other things?
They will die without acros over a given time.. not sure how long of a time period thou it’s been years since I’ve dealt with them.. the good news is you only got 3 acros and I’m assuming just frags.. either dose interceptor or toss the frags and cut your losses… you can try dipping the frags every couple days in hopes of killing them off and their eggs if you wanna give that a shot. But it only takes a couple eggs to start the whole processes over.. gotta be vigilant if you’re gonna go that route.

I dont see why if you can pull it out, you couldn't try dipping it in a strong bayer dip, and try to save the coral...I've killed them with bayer before and black bugs too!

I've had them confined to frags on a rack with a tank full of acros and a few dips did the trick it's been a few years now and no sign of them since. I guess it depends on what you want to do and how attached to those corals you are but it's good experience to try and save them, its already in your tank. If you like the corals and they are expensive or hard to get I would remount them to plugs and do several powerful bayer dips, put them on a frag rack close to the glass for inspection and dip a few days later and just keep monitoring them and dipping, its not a reason to throw them away or restart a tank. imo
