I don’t know if there is any adverse reaction. However if you can, you would have to determine the exact ratio for mixing. Then you would encounter issues if you needed to change the level of one over the other. I would invest in a second doser myself.

There was a similar thread on here about mixing aminos with kalk. Randy mentioned that it is alright to do so due to high ph preventing bacterial growth in solution, and the fact that kalk container gets cleaned and refilled more often.
I would definitely get a reply form Randy before mixing 2 part and aminos.

I would be concerned that amino acids would interact with the high pH of the alk part, and a quick google suggests interactions with calcium too.
I have no idea if these interactions (if they actually happen) would permanently alter the character of the amino acids or not, but my expectation is it might go badly.
(but my answer is like 50% guesswork, so don't put too much stock in it.)

Excellent, thank you all. I am thinking about doing the 2 part balling dosing and that would consume my 4th channel on my reef dose 4. I do not have a need for 2 or 4 more channels so just seeing what might work.
