Hello,

I am switching from RedSea AB+ and going to try Acropower. I was not able to use AB+ in a doser as it needed to be refrigerated. So with Acropower, do most of you add it daily with a dosing pump (weekly does/7) or do you manually dose it? I would assume adding it on a daily basis is better than once weekly but thought I would ask the group for recommendations.

Also. anything else I might need to know from your personal experience?

thanks in advance.

Here are the instructions:

Shake well, then add the desired amount to a high flow area of the tank for rapid dispersion. Dose 5 mL per 25 gallons (94.6 L) once per week, or use a dosing pump to add slowly the same amount divided into daily increments. Store in cool, dry place - Refrigeration not required.

So if I/we dose once per week, does that mean it stays in solution for up to 7 days and the skimmer will not remove it?. I would think doing a daily dose of that amount over 7 days would provide a more consistent amount.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
Thanks!

To keep the amount consistent it would be better to dose every day. It's like dosing anything smaller amounts more often is better.
