I just squirted some kalk paste on some star polyps and a few of the touchier acros spat the dummy - thought you might like to see one of my youngsters having a little mini tantrum.

I find the best course of action to take is to ignore them and just walk off............ later when no one is watching you can give them a smack with some airline tubing. :)

It was a small wild collected branch that's similar to your Fireworks acro Rik. Purple with blue highlight pigments and red polyps.

My good mate Dom gave me a small frag of his ' Firetruck ' about 6 months ago, it's one of my ' don't even look at it too long or i'll throw you out the door ' pieces.........

It's on the other side of the small island the acro above is on - front center of my display for obvious reasons. These are acros behaving well......... :)

Very poor flow - another acro showing very obvious signs of distress. I think videos are much clearer than pics for those who are newer to this SPS craziness so excuse my sudden video bomb but i have the weekend off and it's raining outside........ reefing stuff weather !

That is an amazing acro. I wish you were in the states to get a branch. It is a stunning piece

Thanks Rik, it's very eye catching in the display. All my SPS mates have been given frags to safeguard its existence, you'd get one too if i could :)

Just to the right of the sulky prostrata is my favorite spath that is stuck on top of the purple stylo you can see a bit of far left.

Terry............ i name many of my acro crabs.

Thank you for the kind words Andrew. Please post a full tank shot if available

I got carried away with the rusty chissel yesterday scraping back some pesty polyps near the new piece and accidentally smashed the thing right off the rock.
Quick dab of super glue gel and it was back on the rock before it had a chance to wonder why it was suddenly on the kitchen bench........

I have an 81W RB/410nm LED strip light that i turn on for the last thirty minutes of dusk T5 lighting. Things get a whole lot crazier then Vaughn :)

It's going very badly mate, you can see the tissue loss at the base and the ghastly color. The cutters are on standby.............. :(

Was the cause a nutrient swing or something to do with nuking the polyps? Stunning display btw, I've been known to lurk around your thread on rc lol
