Acros fading away

Well in the poly filters defense I have also been chasing ultra low nutrient numbers and I have not caught them yet. I started zeovit last month which I know could of contributed but I took out the zeolite yesterday and I’m just going to do 25% weekly water changes until everything calms down.

It is the zeo, although I cannot tell you which part since I do not know how far you have gone. I have a few friends that love it, but they will flat out tell anybody that you need a super stable tank before you start (like 2-3 years old) and you have to be dead-on-balls accurate with it, or else stuff can suffer. I guess that you are not down below measurable levels on the phosphate yet since you do not have any burnt tips? In any case, I would stop most of what you are doing, keep on changing water and see if stuff recovers a bit.

Also, at least my friends will caution anybody NOT to use LED with a real zeo system. They do not seem to work in any kind of sizeable quantity. Their theory, and it kinda makes sense, is that since you can be starving the coral in the tank, they need to be getting all of their energy from the lights and T5 and MH have higher quality.

...of course, there are all kinds of partial zeo systems that do this but not that... so gathering the level of somebody's success on the interwebs can be hard.
