Acros on glass?

I’ve had both montis and acros grow on glass, but not on purpose. If left long enough, they may leave permanent markings on the glass, so place them where that won’t matter to you.
100%. If it grows on the glass, and is there long enough, it will etch the glass.

Pretty much anything touching the glass, given enough time will encrust onto the glass.

I've had monti's, pocclipora, stylo's, and even acro's encrust and grow on the glass. One thing I have noticed though, once it starts to encrust, if it was a branching coral, it will not branch, but continue to encrust.
