So since yesterday, all of my acros except my Walt Disney and a milli have had no polyp extension. I did an entire param check.
Alk: 8.4
Calc: 455
Mag: 1400
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate: 1
Phosphates: 0
Salinity: 1.026
Temp: 78
I dose 2part using my GHL doser.
I've had no issues with my acros since... I started my tank 10 months ago. The most recent change was dosing diy kz snow (sodium bicarbonate + rodi water). I noticed after dosing, my alk would drop by .4, I would then manually increase with my 2 part. I've since stopped dosing the snow.
Between yesterday and today, alk is seemingly stable. Is it possible that over 4 days having my alk swing from 8.4 to 8.0 (4) times would cause this?
Lights were adjusted last week. Added 5% to my radions bringing them to 70% intensity (par still lower than I'd like). I've been raising my led brightness by 5% every 2 weeks.
Thoughts?
