Hi
Would it be good for the tank to store, empty, under my deck with a tarp over it to protect from U.V in -30 C or -22 F for the winter?
-30 C we only get for a few days, most times it's -15 C or 5 F.
I live in Brampton really close to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

I think that would be awfully hard on the seems.
Oh and welcome to the R2R family!!!

I did this with a frag tank... Colorado weather, which is not that cold at all... maybe -5 a few times a year. I don't know if it is good, or not, but the tank is holding water now.

LOL … I don't imagine it would be 'good' for the tank, but as long as it is protected from any impact and you let it warm up before filling, hard to see why it would be necessarily bad.

i'd be worried about the acrylic shrinking and pulling away from the seams. However I am not a materials engineer, and don't play one on TV, so i'm really just guessing.....

And Welcome to R2R BTW!!
