Looking to get back into the hobby after a few years and found a really nice acrylic aquarium to purchase through a local ad. Only hesitation is that the top is also acrylic with two slight openings similar to the picture. Planning to do a reef tank and I'm thinking I may regret this limitation in the future. Am I being delusional or is this a concern? Just looking for feedback or any experience having a reef tank with this type of top

hi yes in my opinion holes are too small to get larger rock in,drilling holes to hang on eq ,but looks like the one w stand is reef rdy

The acrylic tank I'm looking at is 4x2x2 so the 1st pic is just an example of the way the top looks. Kind of scale the size of the holes to fit a 4x2x2 if that makes sense. And it is drilled. I think the holes are big enough to fit most size of pukani rock. I'm more worried about it being a PITA to clean, tinker with placement, etc. But I may be overthinking.
