Hey reefers - I'm making a couple acrylic sumps, and I had to remove some stubborn masking tape residue leftover from routing, with Goo Gone. Can anyone suggest a reef safe cleaner that will remove the Goo Gone residue without adding further chemicals? Researching Goo Gone, it is petroleum distillates mainly. These sumps aren't wet yet, and mainly for the outside, but some did get on the inside too, which is what I'm worried about. I was thinking Simple Green, supposed to be non-toxic and bio-degradable, but who knows. Wipe it down with alcohol? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks ya'll...

Try WD-40.
Other option, no us aquarium acrylic polish
