Acrylic cones- Do They exist??

I've spent way too much of my life searching for plastic cones on the 'net. I'd prefer acrylic, but at this point I'm willing to look at anything. Something probably in the 15"-24" range, with an opening of 6-8".
Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

Look into conical tanks they are nsf. You could cut off the tank above the cone part.

Such as fermentation tanks and such.
 
I used an HDPE cone bottom induction tank for my skimmer. Finding cone shapes that are mass produced for a reasonable price was not an easy order to fill. At least for me. Rather than using acrylic for my skimmer cup I used UV clear PVC as its more reasonably priced than acrylic in larger diameters.

I'm looking for something with a much narrower profile. I kicked around the idea of maybe trying to convert a settling cone into what I want, but I cannot seem to find any larger ones.
Also wondered if I may be able to use a plastic erlenmeyer , but in the larger sizes I've found, they flare out too much.
 
What about getting one 3D printed? It will be to your exact specifications.
Note 24” dia is larger than many hobby sized printers, but a commercial outfit can do it.

I hadn't considered that.
I don't know much about 3D plastic. Can it take any pressure?

If you have a pressure requirement they'll need to know.
The cone will have a smooth conical surface in contact with the material being handled, but the non-contact face will have a web of stiffening reinforcement. Actually, being 24 inch dia it will surely have some web reinforcement printed on the backside to maintain dimensional stability even if the material is not pressurized.
 
I think I may have not been too clear. I'm looking for a 6-8" diameter cone that's 15-24" long.

From 0 inches to 6 or 8 inches over the 15-24" distance.

Ok i researched what you are talking about.
How much O2 will you use to run this all the time? Do you feel that you need this much O2 in your water?

One would think a skimmer would be enough on a reef tank to get O2 in the tank.
 
Can I ask what your planing to do with your speece cone? I would think the easiest thing to do would be make one out of fiberglass. It would be pretty easy really.
