I’m going to be upgrading the lights for my 3 grade aquarium club to some Kessil A80s (8 tanks). Having a hard time finding clear lids for the Evo 13.5. Does anybody have any suggestions? The covers will serve a duel purpose of keeping the fish in and keeping kids hands out. Thanks!

I actually built this one today for my own tank 1/4 acrylic and upgraded the light to a kessel 160a we tuna blue

Hey cromag27 is there a specific reason for not wanting to build with acrylic

What did you use in the corners? Are those extra pieces of acrylic?

Yes just some 1in pieces if your handy it is quite simple make sure you sand very good and burn edges with a torch for fine looks

I like your design! Where did you find your acrylic? I thinking this isn’t the plexi glass you find at Lowe’s or Home Depote correct? Did you use a special tool to make the cuts? Sorry for all the questions

Any 1/4 sheet will do I had a piece laying around cut with a table saw and used a jig saw and drill for inside cuts

i know this is and old post but cromag27 why would you suggest not using acrylic? im looking at upgrading my tank and i have some 1/4" laying around. if i left the thre chambers open this shoud cover the gas exchange huh?
