Not been able to log there..
Alcohol is water-soluble high temperature boiling point solvent. Similar to acid.
From what i have known, it gives better wetting properties then acid. It is used in conjunction with acid.
I got EDC as well, stuff is relative cheap if you can find a low quantity package, i got quarter gallon around $12.

Also commercial mixes has MMA resin inhibited upto 1% or something, don't know what it does to the chemistry but it is present in commercial solvents. I have MMA from Sigma Aldrich.

Call me stupid!

While opening EDC bottle after the first plastic bottle cap, it was shut with a aluminium cap, rather then using a bottle opener i used my teeth to open it up! dang it did not have any other cap inside and i got a taste of EDC on tip of my tongue. Please don't scare me posting the possible outcome. I'm alive typing this stupidy off. I washed my mouth several times with water and i also had several solvents spilled on my bare hands. I'm so scared till death i might give up this hobby, on a second thought i'll use protection next time.

Well, last week I was done trying to figure out the art of acrylic. As I said then, I dont give up easily and your encouragement led me to attempt # loss count. I may be getting close! Both side panels to the front panel of an ATO reservoir.

Just a few tiny air bubbles that I'm not sure if they will matter. If you think so, can I just run some 16 along them. It doesn't have to be pretty - it just needs to hold water...lol.

Here's some shots of the seams. The "white areas" are just some run off on the lips and will be trimmed off. Open to thoughts - did I make any headway? Thanks for looking.

I've had more bubbles than that and I didn't have any issues! I'd say that's a great job. one thing I didn't think to ask you last time was, what temp and humidity are you working in?

That too could be an issue. Southwest Florida in early September - so both very hot and very humid. No indoor choice for me unfortunately.

Yeah could be part of your problem. here in AZ I have to move my projects indoors during hot weather. you have heat and humidity to deal with.

Thanks for all the help. I'm going to go ahead and see if I can get the rest of this box together and see if it holds water. I'll update as I proceed for further tips.
