I was thinking about updating my frag tank and have been seeing all they nice acrylic setups. I was wondering do you guys use these just for show and swaps or are they long term. I am no way near that and just wondering if I can use one for long term
Thanks in advance

I bought my 2ft x 2ft from advanced acrylics, been up for 2 years and it’s still just fine.

My 6ft x 2ft I bought used, originated at a LFS years ago, a friend of mine bought it, sold to me this winter and it’s still good as well.

Thanks for the response
What kind of equipment do you run just heat and filtration or are you running a sump and all that
I just wanna grow zoanthids and softies for my display tank

I am running them just like a reef tank, sump, skimmer. Manual dosing. I keep everything from zoas to acros in them.

This is the small one

On that tank, I have run quite a few things, started with a black box LED panel, then ran an ATI Sumpower with a ReefBrite, and now am running a Gen 4 Radion XR15.

I prefer the Radion.
