Ok. Tank is up. Still need to plumb and get the sump so it will be like this for a bit. I’ve lowered the rockwork now that I have it in the tank. I should have measured not to the top of the tank.

Definitely going to get growth on it which will make it stand out a little. If that doesn't bother you go for it, If it does a good cement like this one will allow you to make floating scapes very easily. Ive done it with great success. Cures as strong as the rock itself or so it seems. Ive been able to lift heavy floating scapes whole once this stuff is fully cured.

i do wonder about the growth but I also wonder how noticeable it will be. Its going to get a sand bottom so that covers the stand aside from the back. I have decided to not glue it in so if I feel i made the worst mistake of my life I can just lift it out. :face-with-tears-of-joy:

Ok. The tank will be cycling by Wednesday. I’ll move all this over to a build thread once the tank is up. Made some tweaks to the design and using superglue and rock rubble to hide the stand. I’m also a wh40k nerd and used some bob smith industries super thin glue and it’s working very well. Also using a small brush to push the rubble and sand around before gluing it in.
