Just wanted to share in case I’m not the only one here with issues..

Well I feel dumb… My tank is acrylic so I have the acrylic mag float cleaner..

I’ve always been disappointed in it because it doesn’t work very well so I just have an acrylic scrub pad I’ve been reaching into the tank and scrubbing stuff off.

Well I just realized after months that I can just make the pad thinner and it attaches to the mag float like Velcro…

It works perfectly now….

Mind blown….

I'm gonna need to do this in my 110!!
It's not acrylic, but it has some deep scratches in it (I bought it secondhand from a guy who had 3 huge piranhas and 1 enormous pleco)
I may not have to flirt with danger by standing on my tippy toes on the very top of my step ladder with an algae pad to scrub anymore!

You can also get the mesh screen magnet sleeve from Champion Lighting…
Not only cleans the acrylic better, but also greatly reduces the chance of sand scratching the tank. Been using them for years without problems.
