Acrylic or glass?

I'm looking to have an aquarium made custom and am unsure whether to go acrylic or glass? I've heard that the acrylic is clearer and that small scratches can be buffed out with some sand paper when the tank is still wet, however, I've also only ever owned glass aquariums.
The tank will be a reeftank, and I do enjoy little critters such as urchins. Will these be a no no in an acrylic aquarium?
If you have an acrylic tank, would you do it again or is it a total pain?

Only glass for me, starfire is the bomb!
Acrylic is nowhere near as clear as glass and it will scratch very easily....
