Can someone tell me a site where I can get the acrylic rod to stick in my rock once I have drilled it to get that wonderful scape I Think I am going to make? Notice I said think. Post a link or vendor thanks :)

I've simply used plastic coat / clothes hangers. My wife has a ton of them in the laundry room, and a few aren't missed.

I've also heard of folks using fiberglass driveway markers. HERE's an example from HD.

well....I bought a bathroom plunger that had a clear acrylic handle ... 3/4" solid about 3 feet long....

+1 driveway markers. Super cheap, stiff and reef safe. Not always available in warm climates though. Here in MN, Menards and HD stock them year round.

Acrylic rod is not as stiff as driveway fiberglass marker rods. Unless you need clear I would use the driveway rods. Smaller hole same amount of stiffness

I use a chop saw with a fine tooth blade. Im sure a dremel would work.

This is good to know. I thought driveway markers would be bad inside a tank.
I use a dremel and just cut off the part with the reflective stickers and it's perfectly reef safe.
