Acrylic scrappers?

Sooo i know take the magnet scrapers out of the tank after us, but does anyone have good luck on 3/4ths thick magnet scrapper for acrylic?

I am using the extra large Magfloat to work on stubborn calcium deposits. Another thread adds using a beginner wood working sanding set. The sheets of sanding material fit between the mag and the acrylic to boost the effect. I will see if I can find it again.
