So last week I walked to the store for some cigarettes at about 2am. When I got the the mini mart someone had dumped a truvu hexagon tank with stand and lid. The tank was a scratched pretty good like someone got sand on the cleaning pad. After I got my cigarettes I asked the clerk about it and he was mad someone dumped because he didn't know what to do with it and he said I could have it. I somehow carried home my wife was surprised to say the least. So I got the scratches out but while doing that I found some air bubbles in the top of the seam on one side. It does not leak water and someone did a sloppy job with some weld on 16 it looks like.
So I'm fairly confident it's probably fine as is but would to repair it as best I can. Any advice preferably as cheap as possible I just had my second kid and I already have all the extra equipment so I'm trying to not spend anything more then needed. I was thinking getting some weld on 16 and adding a small brace to the outside I have some extra 1/4" acrylic sheets I can cut.
