How long does an acrylic joint made with solvent #3 have to dry before it is fish safe? I made a small holder bracket that has to be glued inside my overflow box above the water line to hold the air line tubing siphon on my beananimal secondary in place. I plan on unplugging the return pump to drop the water level in the overflow box while I glue it in. It won't get wet or have to take any water pressure while its drying, so I'm not worried about maximizing hold. I'm just concerned about water splashing on it and dripping back into the overflow. I can't leave the filter unplugged for too long while it dries.

No. It's not a matter of the solvent being fish safe, rather allowing enough time for the bond to properly strengthen.

Actually, I don't care about bonding time. It's a 1 inch tab that is above the water line, that I plan on holding in place with tape until it dries. My concern is how long it takes before the solvent is no longer toxic in case water splashes on it and drips back into the overflow. If it's only an hour or so, I can do it the next time I clean my sump when the filter is off. If it stays toxic for 24 hours, I have to come up with a plan B.
Sorry man, totally missed that part. Lol. Yeah a few hours and you're good. Just find a way to clamp the pieces together to let the bond set up a little.
You will be ok after a few min. with #3. The only issue will be the fumes from the MC drying. Those will be gone after about 1 hour. Just have a small fan blowing the fumes away from the tank.
