Acrylic sump extension

The sump is ok, except for the last chamber where the pump is. This chamber is very narrow, I would like to widen it by cutting off the side wall and gluing longer sides. The only question is what to glue it with? Aesthetics does not matter, the most important thing is that it holds firmly, maybe cement?
