Hey guys got a few questions for you...
Are there any aquarium grade magnet scrapers designed for thick windows 50mm?
If not what is the best type of scrapers to use without scratches? we have been using acrylic scraps on long sticks with mixed results.
Are there any products that can remove scratches under water? I heard micromesh can be used for this application...
What is the best method for dry scratch removal? Novus?

I have never found a magnet that I'm happy with cleaning my 1/2 and 3/4 acrylic panels. I currently use a kent pro scraper for coraline and a mag 350 with a Mr clean eraser pad (original only) cut thin. This buffs the acrylic pretty good under water and takes most algae off for me.

I use the 'Tiger Shark' by Mag Float on my 3/4" acrylic tank and does a good job through that thickness. Tried the 'Great White' once but was a bit overkill and hard to move easily.
As for scratch removal the Novus Polishes are excellent fro dry application and for wet you can use automotive wet-sand papers in grits from 600 to 8,000 or more to remove and polish light scratching and obviously lower grits for deeper ones by placing underneath magnetic algae scrapers.

Cheers, Todd

I love my hammer float magnet! It's strong as heck on 1/2" glass.

I use a piece of floss on the inside of tank magnet instead of the velcro piece.
