I was recently told that for large tanks you should avoid Chemcast acrylics. They seem to have had a bonding issue in the past which may or may not be resolved. Anyone have any insight into this?

Pass on the chemcast man... You want plexiglass "g" and that material only!!! Even acrylite "gp" is garbage now...:( you can also use spartech "polycast" but it's pricey and hard to find....

You know of any vendors that have the good stuff in 10 foot sheets at 3/4"?

Check your local yellow pages for plastic suppliers of plastic fabrication... Either one can get it but won't stock it since its a special order item... Fwiw just a example...
$350 for a 4'x8' sheet..
$525 ish for a 4'x10' sheet... Price almost doubles for a extra 2feet
An the price changes weekly so get a quote before they order it..:

I have a builder in LA who hasn't been able to find 10' sheets only 8'. I tried the site above and they wrote back saying just 8' also...

wow. I was talking to jason about this last weekend. Seems to be a tough spot for you man. With the other 2 builders you were looking at were you able to get from them what material they were using?
