Acrylic tank question

Has anyone used a magic cleaner in an acrylic tank? Will it scratch? Scared to try.

How long do you leave the eraser in the tank? I bought some of the “originals”.

I slice them in thirds long ways. I don’t leave the magnets /cleaners in the tank after use. I rinse out the cleaner and let it dry and use again. They tear easily when thicker. You canbuy a box from Home Depot for around $12.00. I actually found that they scrub off the green/brown algae that grows around the waterline better than anything I have ever used.
