What brand acrylic tanks are you guys using. I am looking for a 20 gallon acrylic tank. I was looking at tenecor but now seeing mixed reviews. Truvu looks decent also. Been out of the game for a while and got rid of all my stuff so trying to start back up. So I was wondering what you guys are using.

Thanks

I returned a SeaClear 20 gal a few weeks ago because the back panel bowed too much. Height and wall thickness appeared to be the same as my 40 gal SeaClear so I thought it'd be OK. But they placed the HOB cutout much closer to the edge on the 20 gal so the back panel received much less bracing.

I would go with a custom/premium builder like Envision Acrylics that knows what they're doing otherwise some place with a good return policy.

I just prefer acrylic tanks. And due to young kids I wanted something little more shock resistance haha. Tenecor is claiming they build the 24x13x16 all out of 1/4 material. But again they have questionable review and apparently the original owner is back running things again but who knows.

Plan is for a acrylic or a glass with a canister filter inside cabinet under it.

Acrylic tanks will be a premium price for sure.

I am looking at getting this one now

Here is my 120g Tenecor aquarium, 3/8” front and sides (single piece) that is over 25 years old! Still can look like new!

A 72 x 18 x 20 uses 3/8" and is only a little taller. Most 20-30 gal tanks use 3/16" or even 1/4" so a tall tank in that range is going to have problems.
