Does anybody have a platinum line tank from ATM? The guys behind the show “tanked” on animal planet. Im interested in the 115gal cylinder but hesitant to pull the trigger with so little info out there about them.

I’m not sure how you would make his a reef, like penetration would be my first concern. Second is how the heck do you mount a mp40 with a round surface ?!

A few people have had large tanks fail rather early in their lifespans from them. There was a large thread here on R2R recently about a guy's L-shaped aquarium failing after a few years, looks like it was deleted for some reason (edit: it was because the OP did not have 25+ posts).

You can read through it here and see if it's worth the risk.

+1
I wouldn't give them my money after reading through that and the one on Reef Central.

Can you repost the link? It’s not opening. But if they’re as bad as you’re saying that might explain why you never hear about them on any forum.

I did maintenance on a 2 round tanks.
TOUGH-- no room underneath everything was crammed in.
NO way to do anything but a circular flow & lighting only had 2 openings in the top so maybe something like a Kessil, but they were only a future item.
Top had to come off if you did anything including a glass magnet.
