So I am planning to upgrade my old 125 to a new 72X30X30 tank using 1Inch thick Cell cast for the front, back, and sides, and 3/4 for the top and bottom. I am contemplating using Weld-on 4 due to the capillary action for welding the joints. 2 part cements like Weldon 40 seem to look to viscous. Am I taking a risk using Weld-on 4? Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am not sure about the thickness, but I would think Weld-on 4 would be okay for that. The problem that I would see is how quick it goes off and how much you would have to use to glue it together. Plus since 4 is water thin, it goes everywhere.
