I was wondering if there is a way to bond acrylic to glass

acrylic and glass wont bond you can use silicone but it will come apart eventually

There are always ways to bond two items together, but bonding glass and acrylic is not recommended and not standard practice.

if you are making baffles or trying to hold a wall on an AIO tank, silicone will work just fine. If you are trying to build a tank or trying to hold pressure, silicone will not hold.

I made a sump with a glass tank and put acrylic baffes in, a heavy (but clean/neat) bead of silicone and it's VERY solid.. I used actual aquarium silicone, it's a bit pricey, but it's also convenient.

Agreed. ^^

For a over flow all the way across my tank that is what I have been reading
