ACSerial2Web 1.4 is now available. Capture Video using USB Webcam

ACSerial2Web is a free program for Web enabling AC jr and AC2.

I just uploaded ACSerial2Web version 1.4

New feature is support for USB Webcam for snapshot and video capture.
I tested on Windows using Creative Livecam IM Ultra, but this should work with any USB webcam on Windows and Linux. Unfortunately, the video is not encoded in a format supported by iPhone. Please refer to USB Webcam Support section of the online documentation for details on setting up. Please let me know if you encounter any problems using a USB webcam.

I also made the response time for switching device on and off faster on this version.

you can access the controller web page from your browser on an android, blackberry, etc. It works even on old WAP browser phones.

Got it.. had to do some reading on your site.. not a computer guy so its a bit harder for me to understand. what needed for the ACJR in order to connect to it via mobile phone? can you view tank info also on your mobile device?

you need an ac jr serial cable to be hooked up to a computer that needs to be running when you want to monitor remotely. some people just set this up when they are out of town, others set this up with an old laptop in the tank cabinet and runs 24/7 (that's how mine is setup). the snapshot image is in jpg format, so I'm sure any mobile browser can display jpg. You have to test and let me know if the video will play back on your mobile browser.
