Don’t you just love the weekend? I finally have some time to sit back and enjoy my tank.

I’m staring at my 90 gallon with my 20 gallon nano sitting right next to it and both tanks are under actinic lighting right now. Usually the white lights are on by the time I get home from work and I miss this time period on my tanks.

The tank takes on a new dimension under these deep blue lights. Corals look different. The tank looks like a black light poster. It’s beautiful.

My question for you all is, “What is your most stunning coral under actinic lighting? Which is the coral that really pops under actinics?”

420nm wavelength is the most agreed upon light peak for LED diodes. 440nm comes in a close second
