Actinic lighting for IM 10 Fusion...

Trying to educate myself on LED lighting for my IM 10...I really do not know what specs I need to grow (mostly) softees...I do know that I really like the look of Bowen 1022's new AIPrime all actinic blue...but...$200.00 or so is definitely out of my price range for now...

I am older and not a techy...so recommendations for educating myself on lighting would be appreciated...Thanks...Ken

What about existing Skyelight?...put one in front with the SkyeLight?...Will I need more than one strip...will this give me a strong and coral friendly actinic similar to Bowen's IA...?Thanks...

I would use two to be on the safe end but i would one at a time check the par with one if u like the reading stay with that but if u are growing just softies u should be cool. This is the color you'll get pic

I remember spending $300 on MH bulbs and another couple hundred for 110 watt VHOs....Every Year...

Personally I would not compromise Lights, Skimming or Flow.... After that then whats left your budget chooses your corals....

Back in the day I've been on the cheap road only to cost me more in the long run. My Bad... I did not know better and should of not purchased organisms already stressed only to provide them with an inadequate environment...
