Activated carbon in fallow tank?

Running my 50g fallow for 72 days. Inside some snails, starfish, anemone, horsehoe crab and live rock. Should I add the carbon to my HOB? I'm not treating the tank, set up a QT for the eel who was the lone survivor and treating him with CP
