What do you guys use to maintain your Acrylic tank? My new 180g Acrylic tank will be here in 2 weeks, I don't have any "Acrylic" tools. I know you can't use magnets like you can on glass. And I imagine like a Algae scraper would be bad too, as its essientially a razor blade on a handle.

Brands would be useful. Links too!

Thanks!

I use Magic erasers for most of the cleaning... I also use a non metallic credit or gift card as a scraper they seem to work better than the cheap plastic scrapers out there... Mae sure you use the original Magic Erasers they are much safer. I also have a mag float made for acrylic but it only works on light build up. I was able to put my magic erasers on an old cleaning pole for my old tools works like well umm... magic...

I use magic erasers and magnets from mighty magnets. Just go slow and take your time. I always knock any snails off the panels before I start cleaning just as a precaution.

I use a mag float designed for acrylic but only takes off so much. Also use a algae sponge for acrylic. Works good. Haven't tried magic eraser yet but I'll give it a shot

natural sponge and microfiber towels are good but with acrylic any movement across its surface will generate micro scratches and to remove those scratches a cloth or wool polishing wheel with polishing media I required
