Folks,

I'm interested in the Adaptive Reef Controller Cabinet, but see that it is only available in white. Is anyone aware if it is paintable? My tank cabinetry is all black, and would prefer for it to blend in.

Also, if anyone has painted it, what paint did you use?

This is the item I'm thinking about.... Thanks!!

Very paintable. I would ask @Elder1945 what he suggests, but my first choice would be Krylon or, if I was going fancy, 2k epoxy primer, PPG urethane paint, two thin coats, and a urethane clear.

Krylon will work but you will need to scuff up the surface a bit before painting.

FYI Black ones are on the way soon... I hope to start making them in the next 2-3 weeks and have them listed soon after.

Also have the Trident faceplate and a few more on the way at the same time.

Sweet! I can wait a bit. Looking forward to getting one. Please keep us updated.

Does the trident faceplate have a shelf behind it to sit on or does the trident need to sit at the bottom?
