Yeah if he does and the power goes off. Kinda no dofferent to a conventional syphon break though to be honest

Yeah, no thanks. There’s no amount of fail safes on an siphon overflow I would feel comfortable with. If something can go wrong it will.

It's all good dude, not telling you to take your overflow off and put this on LOL

Just showing people a fantastic alternative for temporary solution

I would politely disagree. A small snail can't clog a 1.25" plastic tube. A large snail could...

I get absolutely zero commission on these “things”...

Usually a conventional overflow will have a tap inline, Ive seen snails clog that line there.

Anyway, it’s pointless - I’m not suggesting this is better than a normal overflow! Just an option for quickly setting up a sump on a non drilled tank
