Add more media to my hob filter?

Hey guys. I'm running a tidal 110 hob on a 35 gallon cube. I have carbon matrix, the sponge that came with the tidal and a medium bag of purigen blue. I need something to clear the water up of fine particles. Should I just get a polishing pad or maybe some more sponges? Any other suggestions for more efficiency?
