Add one extra Alkalinity test on Trident

Right I have 4 tests scheduled. How do I add one extra test on Alkalinity only and keep everything else the same? @SuncrestReef

The Trident doesn’t have that option. You can manually run an Alk test any time you like, but there’s no way to automate it.

Looks like you there is an option for 4, 6, 8, 12, or 24 tests a day. I'm currently, as I'm sure most are, on the 4 tests a day which is every 6 hours. If you bump it up to 6x/day you'd get 1 extra ALK test and 1 extra ALK, CA, MG test. Doesn't quite answer your question to just 1 ALK test but it piqued my interest and I did some exploring to see what I could find.

Thanks! I want to add extra Alk test only because it seems that I will end up with quite a bit of Alk reagent by the time reagents B and C finished. I don’t want to waste quite a bit of reagent A when I have to replace reagent B and C

I wonder if I do one extra manual Alk test will it influence Trident controller dosing in some degree?

Actually last night my trident was showing my ALK was empty. I went to swap it out and course it wasn't truly empty. I'd guess maybe 10% left in the container. I just reset it on fusion so it thinks the ALK is full again. I just have to remember to swap it out in a day or two before it really is empty and sucks air. I figure this way I can truly use everything in the container.
