I have a 90gpd spectrapure system and just added MD's 200gpd upgrade kit to reduce my waste water. The instructions wasn't very clear on whether I needed to keep the flow restrictor after the first membrane or not. I first hooked it up with only a restrictor after the 2nd membrane and it just didn't seem right cause the waste water was coming out a lot more. I then used the included restrictors on both membranes. I got about 2.5:1. I decided to try the original restrictor but that shot it up to about 4:1. Is this the best I can do working on the 65psi I have?
